On March 31, 2025, we are pleased to share that LEDGE has been awarded the 6th SDGs Japan Scholarship Iwasa Award in the “Peace and Human Rights” category.
Out of 732 applications, LEDGE was selected as one of just 27 award recipients, receiving a prize of 3 million yen.
We see this recognition as a powerful encouragement to expand our work. We will continue taking on more cases and strive to make public interest litigation a standard and effective means for addressing social issues.
